Dr. Guthrie moved to Chattanooga in 2010. She has two daughters, Ella Parker and Anna Kate. Dr. Guthrie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, hiking, and yoga. She and her family enjoy everything the city has to offer and love calling Chattanooga home.
Dr. Guthrie received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Mississippi in 2004. She received her Doctoral degree from the University of Memphis in 2009. She has been a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology since 2009 and received her Board Certification in Audiology in 2014. Dr. Guthrie served as the President of the Tennessee Academy of Audiology from 2015-2016. Additionally, she has been a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology since 2019.
4 Bridges Audiology opened in August 2019 and has fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning her own business and serving those in her community with hearing and balance disorders. Dr. Guthrie is committed to helping her patients in any way possible. She considers it an honor to be able to serve her community. Her focus on individualized, personal care allows her to do what she truly enjoys; working with people to improve their lives.
Dr. Notaro remembers visiting Chattanooga to see her husband, Joseph, in the early stages of their relationship and has loved the city ever since. She recently moved to Chattanooga in 2023 after finishing up the schooling portion of her degree and wanting to finish her clinicals in this area. Dr. Notaro enjoys weekends on the lake with her family and her dog. Her favorite activities include swimming, hiking, yoga, and a lot of reading. She is looking forward to exploring all this city has to offer.
Dr. Notaro received her Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Communication Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 and 2020. She received her Doctoral degree from Central Michigan University in 2024. She has received her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Notaro has received extensive training from the American Institute of Balance to bring you updated and comprehensive vestibular evaluations.
Dr. Notaro was thrilled to be able to join a practice that strives to maintain clinically relevant and up-to-date vestibular testing procedures to a community that needs it. She is also fascinated with Cochlear Implants and bone anchored hearing solutions to help her patients hear when hearing aids are just not enough. She is excited to work with 4 Bridges Audiology to help you on your journey to improving your hearing and balance.
